The Postgraduate Certificate in Computational Thinking and Coding for Primary Educators is designed to equip teachers with the essential skills and knowledge to integrate computational thinking and coding into the primary school curriculum. By the end of the course, you will be able to:

Define and explain core computational thinking (CT) principles, including decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking, and their application in primary education.
Describe the role of AI, robots, and programmable toys in fostering computational thinking and problem-solving skills among young learners.
Evaluate pedagogical strategies for integrating CT concepts into primary curricula, incorporating both unplugged and digital approaches.
Assess ethical considerations in AI-based learning, including bias, transparency, and fairness, and develop classroom strategies to introduce these concepts.
Develop evidence-based approaches to teaching computational thinking and digital literacy in primary education.
